Sheldon Hand began his career as a technical support engineer at Systems Integration. Four years later, in January 2000, he joined Veritas as a pre-sales consultant. Following Veritas’s merger with Symantec in 2005, Sheldon was appointed pre-sales manager with a focus on providing an internal service as pre-sales to Symantec’s customers.
Sheldon has extensive knowledge in data availability, storage, backup and disaster recovery and his expertise and passion reflects in his commitment to Symantec customers and partners. The knowledge that Sheldon brings to Symantec not only adds value to the company, but also cements Symantec’s positioning as South Africa’s leading vendor partner of choice.
Sheldon graduated from the Witwatersrand Technikon and has a National Diploma in Information Technology.
