Marc Dijkstra began his career as a support engineer for Computer Workstation Sales in 1996, working with CWS and later Intrinsic Technology as a support engineer and Professional Services implementer before joining VERITAS UK in 2005 as a Storage and Availability Presales specialist in a pan-EMEA technical specialist role. In 2007 Marc moved back to South Africa as a Storage and Availability Presales Specialist looking after the Emerging region, including Russia, the Middle East, Southern Mediterranean and Africa focussing on providing customers in the region best of breed solutions for their Storage management and high availability needs.
Marc has in-depth knowledge of the data management, storage and high availability landscape and has a deep understanding of how IT and the business must be aligned in his customer environments. Marc is also aligned to the ITIL management model and has a broad understanding of the impact of IT RISK to a customers environment
