Oracle also ranked number one in worldwide revenue share for PPM


Gartner, Inc. has named Oracle a leader in its report “Magic Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management, 2009.”*

Gartner defines Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) as solutions that “provide visibility into the current state of organisational initiatives, resources, and spending through the centralised collection of data from multiple sources and perspectives.”
Oracle's PPM solutions include the the the Oracle® E-Business Suite Projects, Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Project Management, Oracle’s Primavera Project Portfolio Management, and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise.


In a separate Gartner report, “Market Share: Project and Portfolio Management Software, Worldwide, 2008,”** Oracle ranked number one in project and portfolio management (PPM) in 2008, based on the combined estimated total software revenues for both Oracle and recently acquired Primavera.
