Oracle focuses on health sciences partner enablement, growth, and accreditation
New industry-specific tools and training aimed at helping partners increase profitability and deliver higher quality, cost effective solutions
To support the ongoing success and growth of its health sciences partner ecosystem, Oracle is delivering new resources to help train and enable partners on the industry’s most comprehensive suite of software applications for clinical development and drug safety. Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) and Oracle Health Sciences are committed to providing a structured, intuitive training and enablement program to better align partners and their businesses with Oracle’s key focus areas for the sector. The Oracle Health Sciences Knowledge Zone makes it easy for partners and customers to connect with peers, participate in a variety of Web 2.0 networks, and engage in opportunities within Oracle’s healthcare and life sciences ecosystem. From the Knowledge Zone, partners can access training, support, and comprehensive product information needed to implement, integrate, and use Oracle Health Sciences applications.
For OPN partners, Oracle’s new Health Sciences Guided Learning Paths provide a series of pre-defined curriculum and assessment tests for both pre-sales consultants and sales people, designed to help build and extend partners’ expertise around Oracle Health Sciences applications. These new courses include Oracle Healthcare Transaction Base, Oracle’s Siebel Clinical Trial Management System, Oracle Clinical, and Oracle Remote Data Capture.
Once partners successfully pass the assessment exams, they earn the OPN Champion Accreditation. Oracle also expects to soon roll out a series of new Oracle University health sciences courses as well as Oracle Boot Camps focused specifically on the implementation of Oracle Health Sciences applications.
“In order to help health sciences organisations accelerate insights for better health, it is important that we continuously strive to enhance the sales and delivery capabilities of our health sciences partner ecosystem,” said Neil de Crescenzo, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Health Sciences. “By providing our valued business partners with the education and training resources they need for Oracle Health Sciences applications, we are better able to support their continued success and help them deliver more complete, higher quality and lower cost solutions to our shared customers around the globe.”
“Oracle has created a highly scalable, standardised training program for health sciences that aligns with our strategy by helping us to better meet the needs of our healthcare and life sciences industry clients,” said Veeraraghavan Narayanaswamy, Senior Vice President, Oracle Solutions Practice, BI, EPM & DW practice at Cognizant. “Oracle’s flexible training and enablement model will make it easier for our clients to achieve greater value and satisfaction from Oracle Health Sciences applications.”
