Intervate has won the Information Worker Solutions Partner of the Year award at the Microsoft Partner Network 2010 Awards, marking the fourth year in a row that the company has won this highly contested category.

Intervate also contended as a finalist in yet another major category this year: the Services Partner of the Year. Intervate, a specialist provider of enterprise content management and collaboration solutions, is the only company ever to have won the Information Worker Solution Partner of the Year award from Microsoft South Africa for four consecutive years.

The Microsoft Partner Network Awards recognise partners in South Africa that have excelled in delivering superior customer solutions. Companies are assessed according to criteria such as the number of customer wins, customer satisfaction rating, innovativeness, strategic alignment with Microsoft and investments into Microsoft-certified training and skills.

Says Mpumi Nhlapo, director at Intervate: “We are gratified to have won this award for the fourth year in a row and see it as a strong endorsement of our solution offerings and skills in the enterprise information management space, particularly on the SharePoint platform. Intervate is thrilled to be playing a major role in Microsoft South Africa’s ongoing success story in the Information Worker market.”

Intervate is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with Content Management, Portals and Collaboration, Search, Web Development and Business IntelligenceBusiness Intelligence Competencies. The company has extensive experience in developing end to end Microsoft SharePoint based solutions. Infact, earlier this year Intervate.com became the first live site in South Africa to be built with SharePoint 2010.

“Intervate stands out in the industry for numerous reasons: a satisfied customer base, continued success in winning new clients, and its on-going investment in building its skills base in our Information Worker products,” said Rory Headon-Weeks, Productivity Solution Sales Lead at Microsoft South Africa. “This award underlines our longstanding partnership with Intervate and the immense value that the relationship has delivered to our customers.”

Adds Nhlapo: “Even in a tight economy, Intervate continues to gain new customers and retain existing ones by assisting clients to maximise the benefits they derive from their investment in Microsoft Information Worker platforms. With our customers looking for solutions that help them to increase productivity and drive down costs, we expect our growth to continue strongly in the months that lie ahead.”
