Mike Coppin is a Senior Director in Oracle's Public Sector Industry Business Unit in Europe, The Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Mike is part of the EMEA Public Sector Leadership Team and is responsible for the Government Fiscal Management (i.e. Government Treasury, Tax and Customs) solutions in EMEA.
Prior to his current role, Mike was the Sales Director for Applications for Oracle Corporation in South Africa. Mike has more than 27 years experience in the IT industry, and has occupied various Board Level management positions during the past 20 years. He also has more than 15 years experience in dealing with Public Sector customers.
Mike was educated in Namibia, and studied at The University of the Witwatersrand Business School in Johannesburg (South Africa), from whom he obtained a diploma in Business Management. He has also completed numerous other courses including Consulting Methodology and Project Management.
Mike has lived in the United Kingdom for the past 4.5 years and travels extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States. His travels have provided him with a unique opportunity to meet with, and gain an insight into, Public Sector institutions throughout the world. He has done presentations in numerous countries around the world.
