The year that was and the year that will be

As we head into the festive season and start closing up another year, it is important to take time to look back at the year that was and take it all in. What lessons have been learnt and what are we going to take with us through to the new year? There's no denying that this has been a challenging year for so many, but it was also a great learning curve for us at Emerging Media.

The past year has been crucial for us. A lot of time was allocated to putting processes and procedures in place to help us run a better business going forward. We also scheduled many training sessions throughout the year, which will definitely continue and help us improve on our skills and service offering. It was a great opportunity for everyone to actively be part of the company's growth.

Now it's time to also look ahead and see how we can add even more value to all our clients, and we believe that this revolves around creativity. We want 2010 to be the year of the big ideas - the kind of ideas that help clients grow their business, create more brand awareness, and keep people talking about them.

In order to start the new year running on a strong foot and help us achieve our goals, we have given ourselves a bit of homework for the holidays, but it is definitely the type of homework we enjoy and gets the inspiration wheel turning. Our mission is to come back in January with a minimum of 10 brilliant ideas for our clients. We believe when you're away from the day-to-day madness of work, phones, email, you will be able to clear your mind and find a better space to think.

December is going to be an awesome break for us and we hope for you too. We're going to work hard at making 2010 rock for our clients and Emerging Media. So look out for our big ideas coming in January.

Be more creative! ... Be more brilliant!
